I want to purchase an Athlon II 160u processor but I am having a hard time finding a reseller that sells this as just a chip

I'm am experienced DIY 'puter builder and purchasing OEM is okay... I need an ultra low power processor with a enough umph to run a small server I like the 160u because of the low 20w power package - I need something that will plug into an ATX or microATX sized motherboard and would perfer to purchase AMD over an Intel Atom...

Does AMD sell this chip to anyone other than system manufacturers?

Anyone have any idea where to get one?

I live down the street from AMD - I'll gladly drive over to pick one up - will bring cash!

Thanks @hovo1981 I nabbed it. My server is now complete ...well as soon as I find a heatsink to fit on it.

It is still wierd that none of the resellers are able to get these and I had to buy from ebay...

I'm glad i could help. Thats a nice processor for a HTPC, low power consumption.
