This is probably a stupid question, but I've seen Athlon XP 3200 CPUs advertised running at a 333 FSB, but I can't find any details on the AMD site. Was there ever actually a processor of this type or were some sites advertising incorrectly? Help... (I'm curious as if there is such a beast, I'd like one, as my Asus A7V8X-X board will only support a 333 FSB...)

An Athlon XP3200+ with a 333MHz FSB does exist, but was never publicly available and isn't documented in any publicly available datasheets either. It was a special OEM-only thing that was sold with some HP-computers.
Most likely, the site(s) selling such a part are advertising incorrectly - especially if they offer a retail/boxed version of an AXP 3200+/333MHz FSB...a retail-box version of this part DOES NOT exist.
In my opinion, the only way to get such a part would be either with one of those HP-computers or maybe from EBay - i doubt that you would be able get them from a normal shop.
Btw, the appropriate OPN(Ordering Part Number) for an Athlon XP 3200+/333MHz FSB would be 'AXDA3200DKV4D'. If you're going to buy one from any shop or person, make sure to verify it has exactly the OPN that i posted above.
