help please ...how do you get the heat sink off the cpu..is there a tool to unclip it from the board

It is just clipped onto the cpu socket, a simple lever (aka a screwdriver) will get it off no problems.

Just remember to put a credit card or something like that under the clip when you do it, just in case the screwdriver slips.
