i have on order a AMD ATHLON XP-M 2500+ SKT-A OEM BARTON im new to over clocking and need some help.
i have a soyo sy-kt400 dragon ultra mother board with 2x512 ddr 400.
a 4400i graf card
4 hard drives on raid
any help thx

Welcome to the forum.

First off...Overclocking voids your warranty if any...Second you blow it up, I'm not responsible.

Okay so lets get the cpu running at it's rated speed, did you do this?

Next I would try increasing the front side bus a bit at a time, your XP-M should easilly handle 166 (333) bus speeds...

Then go on from there...

It's quite popular to drop the multiplier on the XP-M then use a higher FSB speed...

Experimenting is the only way to see what the max speed will be
