First off please forgive the ignorance.
I want to build a new desktop and have some items passed down to me and would like suggestions as to which to use for a multimedia, intermittent gamming desktop.

Processor:
I have 1 new AMD Phenom II Black multi-core X4 955 processor/fan kit- 3.2 GHZ

So far I have the following, which should I use?
motherboards:
1 asrock 870 extreme3 mobo
1 ASUS m4a79xtd evo mobo

Graphic cards:
1 EVGA GTX550TI GeForce 1G GDDR5
1 XFX Radeon HD4850 1GB DDR3 HDMI (hd 485x-zn hd-485x-znfc v3.0)
1 XFX Radeon HD 5770 (5772)

Memory:
16gb (4 modules of Corsair XMS3 DDR3 2x4=8gb x 4 sticks)
4gb dual channel G.Skill DDR3 2048mbx2 modules of 2gb each.
ample DDR2 ram at 2GB per module x 6 modules (but DDR2!?)

Hard Drives (Internal)
1 Seagate 1TB 5900rpm Barracuda LP model ST31000520AS
1 Western Digital 500GB 7200rpm WD RE4 SATA/64MB WD5003ABYX
1 (External) Toshiba 1TB 3.0 USB Canvio 3.0 plus

Windows 7 professional 64 bit
Microsoft Office 2010 home/office but 32 bit software?

Evva Titan 1000watt blue LED power supply (will it fit the case I'm thinking of below?)

Case: Rosewill Cruiser mid tower ATX
or One of the Antec blue LED fan cases at newegg priced from $69.99, $99.99 and $109.99
One of these 4 cases above (all mid tower size).

1 Asus 24x DVD R/RW $20.99 DVD/CD burners
1 Samsung BU R/RW burner HDMI

Suggestions on matching up the correct motherboard to graphics card and ram would really be appreciated!
and also suggestions on- which case to buy for my already have large AZZA power supply

Samsung Syncmaster 2493HM 24 inch HDMI digital monitor.

All of the above I already have except the mid tower/case and the DVD BU burner.

Would someone please piece this Desktop together for me using the parts mentioned above.

Many thanks in advance

My vote ;-) ASUS m4a79xtd, EVGA GTX550, 4gb dual channel G.Skill DDR3 2048mbx2, 2x 500GB 7200rpm WD RE4, in RAID-0

Thanks A_G for your answer.
I've done some online comparisons (when available against eachother/mobo's against each other, graphic cards against each other, etc) and from the comparisons it's been Asrock over Asus mobo, EVGA 550ti over both Radeon graphics cards and the corsair (even though it's 1333) over the G.Skill ram (possibly due to the amount 16gb vs 4gb?)

Now, as far as the case with the huge Azza Titan 1000 watt PSU I want to be sure a midtower is large enough for this power supply and because on a budget and haven't purchased the case/tower yet, I'm leaning towards the Rosewill Cruiser for the <$ factor, $66.

Thanks again,
George

I have a chance to pick up two EVGA GTX 570 HD graphics cards, how much difference would that make my gaming and HD video viewing?
Should I go with the two EVGA GTX 570 HD cards over the other 3 mentioned above? I can swap all three previous cards for the matched pair of GTX 570.
Thanks,
George
