I am currently running an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ on an ECS K7S5A PRO. I am curious to see what others think of this motherboard, and what experiences they have had with it. I have gathered that perhaps ECS doesn't provide the best quality control for these boards, so they can offer them at lower prices to customers.

Mine works fine with a XP2200+

Actually ECS is part of the #2 motherboard producer in the world, HSING in China.

The volume of boards they produce is what keeps the cost down.
