I have AK39N mother board. What will be the fastest processor my mother board can handle? (I use my computer primarily to play Sony's Everquest II). A computer recomeneded me an AMD athlon XP 3000+ processor as the fastest one it can handle. Is that right?

Yeah it will handle this version of the XP300+ CPU:
AXDA3000DKV4D XP3000+ 2167MHz 13x166MHz

You may also want to get the latest bios for it.

You should also realize that a decent amount of system memory and a quality video card can really make a difference when you run games on your machine.

Thanks!

However, my motherboard specs say that it can handle 200/266 Mhz FSB processor. However, i understand that AMD athlon XP 3000+ is 333 Mhz FSB.

Also, where can I obtain the latest bios for this?

Thank you!
