you all know, well most of you know,

that if you have a barton core it runs hot as ever,

mine was ideling at 55c with this crap thermal grease

and when i got the mx-1 its at 42c, now i dont know about you other barton core people that have a 3000+ but i think that is A-Pretty-Pretty good

and when gaming it gets to 50c with all my fans turned up

with the fans running on low it gets only 53c


anyone with a barton core thats clocked at 166fsb and 2.19 ghz post your temps /biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

heeelp, ADMINS and MODERATORS, help i by accident put in the wrong EMAIL address and now i cant do anything.

I use a 2600+ Barton core, it runs at 2.3Ghz (can run higher, but this rubbish memory hates going higher than 205mhz /laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /> - temps under load are never higher than 43 degrees.

sooo...do the 166FSB bartons run hotter then the 200?
my 3200 Idles at 33C/92F on my probe, and MoBo reports 35C
