I am somewhat new to AMD processors. I have always used "another brand".
I am interested in how to identify AMD processors using the numbers printed on the CPU. I s there a list of processors and part numbers or do I have to look through the various data sheets?
I currently have an Athlon processor with the following numbers on it:
A1000AMT3B
AVFA0048MPM

I know it is an Athlon, 1ghz. What other info do these numbers give me and how can I read them? /dry.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='dry.gif' />
