and have you ever herad of an auto matic update of the ASUS bios at the ASUS support website?
i read a post abvout doing that and i never heard of such a thing, so i went to the ASUS site and searched for it and there is no such thing listed, all th eupdating of bios that i can find must be done the lod fashioned way, by downloading the file and the using the floppy of the program you go through thte technique of flashing the BIOS.
any feed back here , Bob??
I agree with MD. I'd be VERY afraid to do a BIOS upgrade in Windows. There is a utility on the ASUS CD to do that but the old-fashioned low level BIOS flash is safest as long as you make sure the file, floppy and floppy drive are good.
