i read a post abvout doing that and i never heard of such a thing, so i went to the ASUS site and searched for it and there is no such thing listed, all th eupdating of bios that i can find must be done the lod fashioned way, by downloading the file and the using the floppy of the program you go through thte technique of flashing the BIOS.

I agree with MD. I'd be VERY afraid to do a BIOS upgrade in Windows. There is a utility on the ASUS CD to do that but the old-fashioned low level BIOS flash is safest as long as you make sure the file, floppy and floppy drive are good.
