I have just had transferred from an EPOX socket a motherbaord to Foxconn socket a board my processor & heatsink/fan. The CPU is running at 61 degrees and everything else seems fine apart from an annoying high pitched noise from the heatsink/fan.

Any ideas of why this would be and what i need to do to fix it ? The CPU was a retail boxed version i bought last year /sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' />

Are you sure it's not from the coils located near the processor, it's quite common on some mainboards power section...
