I don't know wether xp-m2500 supports sse2 or not.
Please tell me for I'm desiding to buy one notebook with it.

I believe SSE2 is only supported by Athlon 64's and Opterons.

Correct, no SSE2 support with Socket A processors (Duron, Athlon, Athlon XP, and Sempron).

You will need at least a Socket 754 or Socket 939/940 processor, which do support the SSE2 instruction set.
