So i copy and paste the info of my motherboard given by SiSoftware Sandra software and please tell me which proccessor is compatible ( i give you the info of "Mainboard Information" , if you need other info just ask me )

Thank's /laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

Any socket A sempron or athlon xp should work.

Get some pc3200 memory. One or two sticks of 512Mb ddr400.
If your power supply is old, replace it.

Hi, i wanted to buy first the AMD Processeur SEMPRON 2400+ but someone tell me that it will not be compatible, he said only a Athlon ( not SEMPRON ) serie can be compatible , he advice me AMD Processeur Athlon XP 3000+ Barton - Box

But Both have Bus frequency 333 MHz and as i understand my system can only suport only "Front Side Bus Speed : 2x 100MHz (200MHz data rate)" no ? /mellow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mellow.gif' />

Sorry if i ask stupid question, as i said i'am not a pro

Thank's for you reply /biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

In the document you sent it says you have a KT400A board.

You need to set the jumpers to 333fsb but BEFORE that, get some pc3200 memory.

I repeat, you can run a sempron 3000+ socket A or an athlon xp3000+. Both run at 166MHz(333fsb) if you have the right memory.
