Erm .... Help !! I have a SL-75KAV motherboard with an AMD Thunderbird 1.4GHz CPU.
The motherboard has 'died' and need to replace it, please could someone tell me if the CPU will fit into an 'A Socket' Motherboard.

T-birds are socket A.

Does the new board you're replacing it with have the same chipset? (VIA, nforce)?
