Hi , i would like to ask those who have overclocked an XP2400+(Stable) using stock cooling. How much did you push it? And may i know your settings? Mine is a throughbred B core. I have pushed it to 135 x 15 and it is extremly stable. Using my specs (Below at my Signature) , what do you think i can push it to? I just need some head start. I have two fans sucking in air and the tempreture of my CPU is 45-46 degrees and the MAX is 54 Degrees. Sorry for asking such a question but i would like to know the settings of some good overclock (FSB & Multi). I tried alot of setting but the most stable one is still 2.03Ghz (135 x 15)!!!!! I can't overclcok pass that.

Note: My computer is already quite hot now. So i won't be raising the VCORE. Thanks. Hope to have replies soon.

Is your CPU unlocked? And when are you getting the PC3200? I ran my unlocked XP2400+ @ 1.65v at 200x11 with no problems. There was a noticable increase in performance over 133x15.

I took my 2500+ to 2.2Ghz, though I wouldn't recomend doing any overclocking on 'stock cooling'

In short I lapped the copper slug based stock heatsink, and mounted a hi-flow 60mm fan (Y.S. Tech) on top... knocked 10c off my temps (bit noisy though )

Quentin... you certainly have a nice collection of SocketA systems... are you into distributed computing ie. F@H?
