First of all, I hope that someone official will shed some light on barton steppings (please )
got 2500+ AQXEA 0329 XPMW
using dr. thermal TI-V7725L 4500rpm aluminium heatsink with copper slug
10.5x200 1.675vcore load:44 11x200 1.775vcore load: 51
No 'oc using stock voltage' success like you see... It's a shock to me when I see people going 11x200 with 1.65vcore Did you people stress your system long enough? Mine worked ok 11x200 1.725vcore but got frozen while folding, 1.75 started folding ok but made errors after 4-5 hours, 1.775 looks ok

Those temps are they from MBM? I have a diode-temp at 50c low and 60+ high running my 2500 AQXEA@stock on A7N8X dlx. Use SK7 with a TTfan @ 2200RPM. My casetemp is 14-17c.

Gave it a Delta Exterme Screamer and got a high at 52c, and that makes sense.
But I would really like to know if it's socket or diode-readings when temps are posted.
I get socket readings at 41c when my diode reads 55.

2100, 1.65, <40ºC 2200, 1.65-1.70, ~42ºC 2300, 1.80, 45ºC? 2400, 2.15, ~52ºC
Come on guys, get some real cooling! An SK-7 + Smartfan II @ 2600RPM will work wonders.

I just replied to another thread, I've so far (new system) overclocked my 2500 from 11 x 166 @ 1.65 to 12 x 166 @ 1.65 and it's been working fine. Just watched the simpsons and it's been stable, will try some benchies then go up to 12.5 etc.

UDHA, the most important info is your stepping and cooler my guess is AQXEA, that's roughly my o/c

in what order were the steppings for barton released? AQUCA - AQXDA - AQXEA - AQXFA is my guess do they get changed after few weeks and never reappear again(get replaced with newer steppings)?

I think it goes something like this, though I bet I'm missing a few... AIUAA -> AQUCA -> AQXCA -> AQXDA -> AQXEA -> AQZEA -> AQZFA In terms of OCability, supposedly the scale is: AQZFA > AQZEA > AQXEA == AQXDA > AQXCA > AQUCA > AIUAA I'm sure AMD will tell us the actual order... hey, I can dream, can't I?

oc-ability isn't entirely related to the corecode(i.e. AQXEA), but also the stepping(i.e. MPMW) that determines the oc-ability. I have 2 different 2500+ processers, with AQXEA and AQFZA core, and they are quite equal when it comes to overclocking. Ill list the results: AQXEA 0332 TPMW max @ 1.65v: 2150Mhz max @ 1.75v: 2240Mhz max @ 1.85v: 2300Mhz
AQFZA 0335 TPMW max @ 1.65v: 2200Mhz max @ 1.75v: 2288Mhz max @ 1.85v: 2340Mhz
It's been said that the XPMW and MPMW steppings are the best overclockable. The TPMW stepping like mine are moderate overclockers.
Edit: I'm a member of a Dutch overclocking site, and this is their conclusion on overclockability (list is not complete and results may vary):
Cores:
AQUCA AQXCA AQXDA AQXEA AQZEA
Steppings:
XPMW XPAW TPAW MPMW TLPW TPNW TPMW TPCW WPMW VPMW UPAW UPCW SPAW
On top are the best overclockers, on the bottom the worst.

Add an SPMW to the bottom of that list. My SPMW sucks.
