How would you know if the CPU installation is successful and my CPU is not defective? During POST, if there are no errors that are related to the CPU...does it confirm and guarantee that my installation or CPU is good? just curious...

If you can POST and if your CPU is stable under an extended period of load then you're in good shape.

If you want to be 100% sure all is ok download prime 95 and run the torture test and watch the temps at the same time. If that goes well and you can run it overnight with no errors then it is as close as you can get.
