Hi all....

I've already bought the barton 2800+ with the abit nf7s, aero 7+ fan, fx 5200 and a 512 mb kingstone value memory

after a week a bought this system the temperature has raised rapidly i installed the mbm in the sensor is 57 for idle and 65 for full load
and the casing temperature is 35 for idle and 41 for full load

I didin't overclocked my sistem yet b'coz of this temperature why my system is hot
i see my friend system with the same spesification is only 35 at idle and 45 in full load

thx b4

I would suspect you have a temp calibration problem!

You cant calibrate a thermal diode, LOL! They are set up like that. If those results are from the BIOS try flashing to the latest version to get more reliable readings.

Are you using a small case.

What size of ATX case do you have? Mini tower, mid tower of full tower. Small cases tend to have restricted airflow. Do you have at least one fan in the lower front of the case to intake cool air and one in the back to exhaust the hot air? Make sure the cables are tied up and out of the way. Make sure the heatsink is seated properly.

Can you post us a link to your case?

Also, what fan are you using? Did you use any thermal compound?
