Naturally, due to the question you might think I am retarded. Fact is, I actually don't know this.

Right now I'm running Win98 SE, and it's alright. But I'm wondering if it's worth it to invest in XP. I always kind of assumed that the processor (mine being the Athlon XP 2200) was designed for Win XP, and had some perks. If so, what are these perks?

Thanks.

The XP moniker attached to the Athlon is in no way related to Windows XP. That being said, you can update at your leisure. It's actually in your best interest to upgrade to XP as Windows 98SE is quickly becoming obsolete in terms of support.
