i bought this processor because it was a upgrade from the 2500+ 1 i had but the [content edited] thing is running at 1.3 speed which is slower then the 1 i had, but on the box it said 2.16 speed why is this happening to me ?

I tried to do the amd test thing for the speed and it said the same thing can someone help me out or tell me what is going on. One more thing how do I get to the support poeple I want to know what is going on please help me!

Your FSB(FrontSide Bus, aka 'System Bus' aka 'CPU External clock' is running at 100MHz instead of 166MHz.

Make sure your FSB('CPU External clock' is set to 166MHz both in BIOS and via jumper on your motherboard(if there is a jumper for setting FSB - refer to your manual for details).
Also, make sure your memory is set to '100%'/'synch' or 166MHz(DDR333) - memory timings should be set to 'by SPD'.
