I have the XP2500+. When ever you play anything with audio the PC hangs but if you not using audio the PC works fine. I have run Quicktech test on that cpu no errors found. Is there another programe I can use to find out what is wrong with the CPU? I will appreciate any respond to this.

Just a thought:
have you tried re-installing the soundcard drivers?
Don't think it's your cpu that's causing the hangs.
Seems more like a bad driver or something like that.

Are you using on-board sound? If so try lowering the quality settings in the game to see if it frees up the load on the CPU. If that doesn't help then perhaps you should try and download some different drivers.
