Hi all,

Yesterday I just installed a Thermaltake Volcano 11+ over an AMD XP 3000+ FSB400 CPU.
Everything works smoothly, the cooling was good (high load about max. 44 degree, at aprox. 4000rpm, but i'm very disapointed about the noise.
Already i'm thinking to 'upgrade' my cooling system.
Does anyone try a Thermaltake Silent Boost 1889 ? Some details about it ? (idle/load temp., noise?)
Or another quiet cooler ?

Thanks.

I don't have any personal experience with TT's Silent Boost, but i believe it's a pretty decent cooler and not too loud either...(you can find a review here' ">http://www.overclockercafe.com...ooling/Tt_SilentBoost/, for example - search on google for more reviews)
If money is not an issue, you might want to consider a heatsink from Thermalright's SLK-9xx-series and a nice, silent 92mm fan(like a Vantec stealth for example) to go with it
Zalman's CNPS7000Cu might be an option aswell - it's very silent, pretty powerful and can be used on both Socket A and Socket 754(if you decide to upgrade to an A64-system) - it's very heavy, tho(over 700g).
