I had some major computer trouble, and had to format my hard drive. When I reloaded everything, I noticed my CPU was running significantly slower. I checked the specs and what had been listed as AMD Athlon 2000+ now boots as AMD Athlon 1250Mhz. When I downloaded a test system from the AMD website my CPU registered as 1244Mhz Athlon processor. Has this ever happened to anyone else? and any idea how to fix it?

reboot go into bios be hitting delete @ post and set fsb to 133 and muiltiplier to 12.5.

ya, 133*12.5, thought 2500+. or u can update BIOS in order to detect 133FSB

166x11.0 would be a 2500+
