I had some major computer trouble, and had to format my hard drive. When I reloaded everything, I noticed my CPU was running significantly slower. I checked the specs and what had been listed as AMD Athlon 2000+ now boots as AMD Athlon 1250Mhz. When I downloaded a test system from the AMD website my CPU registered as 1244Mhz Athlon processor. Has this ever happened to anyone else? and any idea how to fix it?

QUOTE (ati @ Oct 9 2003, 03:30 AM) no jonspd, ur wrong. just go to the BIOS and set to 166*11 not 133*12.5 it's a 2000+, 133x12.5 is correct. 166x11.0 would be a 2500+
