I have a Tyan Trinity KT400 (s2495) board.

I use to have a Duron 1Ghz chip in there, just upgraded to a AMD Athlon 3000+ (FSB 333) The RAM is PC27000 333Mhz, so it is compatible.

When I place the AMD 3000+ I get no post, but the whole system powers up. I have removed power from the components that are not needed for post.

If I place the Duron chip back the system post.

Also I updated the BIOS to the latest and greatest version.

Any suggestions? Any help would be great! thanks in advance.
