My Athlon 450 X3 is not clocking at its core speed of 3.2ghz, I have to manually overclock it to it's "factory" default. When AMD quiet n cool was turned on, it was as low as 1.4ghz, and it would not up the processor speed when I played any game, and when I turned off the quiet n cool feature, it went up to 2.2ghz. I went into the BIOS and checked the default frequency, and it said 3.2ghz, but when I start up windows, it is not as fast as it is said to be. I am using DxDiagnostics and CPU-Z to look at the current speed. I'm not very hardware literate, but what do I do? I shouldn't be overclocking my processor just to get the default speed from it.
