Help...can not get my computer to post...fans spin but no POST beeps and a blank screen. Here are my specs: 128Mb DDR2100 Sony 4X CD, Quantum 15Gb HD, Floppy, and Avance 300W power supply

Try reseting the cmos. (jumper)

What did you do that coused the no-POST ? OC, new HW ?

I forgot to say that this is a new build. I tried taking the board out of the case and still nothing. Some of the parts are from an old computer but I don not think they should cause problems. Will try resetting c-mos.

Check if there is any slot for cubic-like power connector with 4 wires (2yellow, 2black) on your MB. That could be not connected and cause the CPU to have no/low power.

try the following:
1) reseat the memory module
2) reseat the graphics adapter
3) reinstall the processor

Update Guy's: I remounted the processor, reseated ram, and reset bios... still no go. All I am getting are fans spinning and power switch operating correctly. HELP!

Where did you buy that dead cpu?? (just kidding) do you get any beeps from the system speaker when power is applied.

No.. I do not get any beeps, no screen (monitor LED stays orange). My manual for the motherboard says that I could go to 2600xp. I am wondering about my power supply...could that cause this problem?
