(cbar216 @ Mar 26 2004, 06:28 PM) Well I figured out how to change it in smaller amounts and so far I am running stable at 188MHz FSB, with my Vcore at 1.7, and my memory timings at 3-3-3-11.
Temperature-wise I am doing well I think, CPU idles at about 33C and load at about 50C.
Thanks for the help and I'll be back to report on if I can get it up to 200MHz.
50° - 33° = 17 degrees difference between idle and load temps. It wouldn't hurt to look for a better cooling solution. My system runs at 44° idle and 52° load (8 degrees difference) using stock HSF and with a little tweak from Speedfan (100-33-100 idle, 142.7-35.?-142.7 under load). Look here

I know I can improve this if I get a better cooling system but I'm saving for a new system instead. My current system is an AXP1700+ (1.10 ~ 1.57GHz) on a K7S5A
