I have 2800+ barton installed on asusA7V600 mobo with viaKT600 chipset. How do i know what is current fsb frequency? I have read motherboard manual and it says nothing about front side bus frequency setting. I have also visited asus homepages but I found no info about FSB setup. mobo manual says that the motherboard support FSB up to 400Mhz. I know there is no jumpers or dip switches on the motherboard to set the fsb freq. I havent yet updated the bios. The asus probe program shows current cpu frequency 1916Mhz and says that maxspeed is 2250Mhz? external clock is 166Mhz. My bios setup cpu multiplier 12,5X external clock 166/33. In my calculations 12,5 x 166 = 2075Mhz why is the probe showing 1916. what does the 33 after 166 mean. Does anyone have the same motherbord or anyone who can help me out?? This is really bugging me!

the 33 after the 166 is your pci speed.
are you absolutely sure that the multiplier is 12.5 and not 12? try setting it to auto instead and see what happens?
