hi everyone,

I have a Amd Athlon XP 2800+ (barton Core). ever since i bought this product i have never been able to run it at normal speeds. Normal speeds are :
Multiplier = 12.5 (locked)
FSB = 166
i have to run my processor at :
Multiplier = 12.5
FSB = 160

Only when i do highly demanding things my cpu used to reset and get critical errors constantly. I changed down the front side bus to 160 and i didnt get the problems but now i want to put it back to normal speeds and im still getting the errors and resetting i used to get. Cooling is not the issue i have 5x 90mm fans.

My computer stats are:

Thermaltake Damier V5000
Thermaltake purepower 420W psu
AMD Athlon XP 2800+ (barton core)
MSI-KT4V mainboard
1gig (2x512mb) memory pc3200 DDR 400
ATI sapphire 9700pro ultimate edition
western digital 200gig 8mb cache 7200 rpm

PLEASE HELP!

Are the jumpers on the motherboard set to 166MHz(333fsb)?

Im not sure i will have a look when i get home (im at school) i can put it at 166fsb but its just stable at all during games. It resets,exits to desktop,occasional blue screen(rare).
