a question, actually i used a Athlon XP 3000+ barton core bus 333, used Windows XP SP2 PRO, and a BFG FX5700OC 256Mb video card, Mobo K7N2 Delta-L MSI, and my system crashed and reebot, then windows say the problem is video driver.
/excl.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='excl.gif' /> the only solution is desinstall the GART driver (AGP driver), then windows work fine, no crash no reboot.
I think buy a Sempron 3000+ (512k L2) but my fear is that the processor crashed just at the Athlon XP
The Sempron also have the AGP issue??? or is a new chip with new instructions ???
The problem isn't your chip. And by the way, the socket a semprons are a slower version of the athlon xp's (they have less cache). Otherwise they are no different. Is the video card working w/o that driver? If so then there aren't any problems so it doesnt matter. Sometimes you dont need all the drivers, some are already built into windows.
