yeah i built a 2800+ xp for a friend of mine. in like 3 months the super fine heatsink fins with small gaps between them had already accumulated a thin blanket of dust over them. so i switched out that hsf with one that had larger fins with wider gaps.

works much better now.

Did you reverse the fans as I suggested? That may lower temps a bit more
