Just tried setting up this system for file storage and running minor programs.\

The problem Im having is when I hit the power button my fans spin up but I get no video. The cpu was working in the last board it was in before the board shorted out. Yea I know possible damage to cpu.
I tried to boot board without the cpu and get the same thing

I have the Jumper settings at 133mhz
I tried both pc2100 and pc2700 memory
Used both On board video and a seperate card.
Only things connected are a cd rom and a western digital Hard drive.
Using a 350watt power supply with both power connectors connected to the board

try the cpu in the old board

Make sure the "Clear CMOS" jumper is set to READ DATA. PCChips boards are set to "CLEAR" at the factory to save the CMOS battery.

Did check the cmos and unfortunatly I did fry the old board do to a stick of memory not being seated right so no way to test it. I know this post is more suited towards the motherboard so I am tryiong both
