I decided to start a new post as my problems have changed.
When using one stick of 256MB RAM, 133 MHz, I can start up my computer fine with the frequency set to 100 MHz or 133 MHz on the RAM. But if I change the FSB on the CPU from 100 MHz to 133 MHz like the chip is supposed to run at the computer stops at "SDRAM at DIMM #:" and never goes any farther. Why will it work with a bus speed of 100 but not 133. I know my motherboard can support it, and I have the latest BIOS from their website. Is this a RAM problem, or is it a power supply problem where my PSU can't give the higher FSB speed enough juice to boot? Or something else? Thanks for your help!
