Recently I have bought a brand new AMD Sepron 2200+ and a K7VTA3 board made by ECS. I wiped my hard drive and installed windows again and the drivers for the board. Then I went to check my system settings and noticed that it says it was running at 900mhz. I went and opened up my case and set the FBS jumpers to 166. When I started up my computer the computer wouldent start. This is my problem. Please help me if you know what I need to do.

Hello, welcome to the forum!

Some of the ECS and PCCHIPS boards with VIA chipsets don't like to run right at the standard 166 FSB setting. Try a slight overclock of 175 FSB by making an adjustment in the BIOS. That often takes care of it.

(Obviously this will only work if the system will run enough to get into BIOS setup. The boards I described will start at 166 but aren't stable at that speed.)
