I bought a Matsonic MS 8177C Mainboard, with VIA 600 Chipset Socket A Mainboard.
After installing the 2200 + CPU, I discovered I knew nothing about what to set the Frequency jumper to.(It will not boot at the default setting of 200MHz. Shoud I set it for 100,160 or 133)?

The FSB should be set to 133MHz, I believe. I'll check for you.

Edit: FSB runs at 166MHz.

Hi glen11! The FSB should be set to 166/333 which is abbreviated to 166/33 in some BIOS. Here are the specs for the Sempron 2200+; please pay close attention to the multiplier and FSB section in your BIOS. If you go higher then stock on any of those two categories, the you are subjecting the processor to possible damage by overclocking. You can try overclocking (I noticed benchmarks showing Semprons overclocking almost 700 MHz), but for now I suggest you get it set to stock.

~ Sempron 2200+
~ 1500 MHz Clock Speed
~ 166/333 MHz FSB
~ Socket A/462 Architecture
~ 9.0x Multiplier
~ 128 KB L1 Cache
~ 256 KB L2 Cache
