Basically, any Socket A Sempron(up to Sempron 3000+) will work on any Socket A motherboard that supports a 333MHz FSB.

Personally, i would recommend a motherboard with the NVidia NForce2 IGP chipset if you need integrated video (all NForce2 IGP boards will support a 333MHz FSB).

I know of one that is around 60 U.S. dollars that is really good. (BioStar M7NCG)
Definitely cheaper than buying a motherboard and videocard seperately.

Hi,
What abt Sempron 3100+ (socket 754) processor?
Does any board supports this sepmpron having onboard video?
How abt Asus k8N based boards, does that board has on board video (Graphics)?

Thanks,
- Nirav

The Sempron 3100+ (Socket 754) will run just fine on any Socket 754 motherboard - a few older boards may require a BIOS update for the CPU to be recognized properly.

As for on board video, i am currently aware of the following Socket 754 motherboards with the VIA K8M800-chipset which has integrated video:

- MSI K8M Neo-V (full ATX)
- MSI K8MM ILSR (µATX)
- Gigabyte K8VM800M (µATX)
- DFI K8M800-MLVF

All of the above boards will support a Sempron 3100+ processor.

No this board does not have on-board video.
I am not currently aware of any Socket 754 motherboards with integrated video from Asus.

There is an ASrock board (Asus subsidiary) with Sis760 chipset and upgrade path to Socket 939.
