I'm asian guy,so my english not very well.May be have some broken language, pls pardon.

I still's a newbie,so have alot of question about K8.

Q no1.
Wat defferent between SDA2800CVBOX,SDA2800BOBOX and SDA2800BXBOX.?

Q no2.
Wat defferent between Palermo n Paris?

Q no3.
I heard alot of people discuss about CnQ with sempron below 3000+,That's really make me confuse. It's CnQ really helpful?

Q no4.
2500+ also is my choice(cheapest),wat defferent with 2800+???Except 200MHz and L2 cache, anything else about the technology? If i choice 2500+,how about the performance if compare with my K7 2600+(barton)?

Q no5.
I'm K7 2600+(Barton) user right now,so i plan upgrade 2 K8.But i don wanna waste a lot of money 4 it.I just hope can get some new technology i havent have before.EXP SSE3,HT technology,MCH,CnQ(i'm not sure it's good enough 4 me or not).I'm not use it 4 OC,just 4 editing n gaming only(basic user).Which model is good 4 me?2500+ or 2800+???Or better i choosing Venice 3000+????

Hope Master can unterstand my'broken language' word n 10q very much 4 finish reading my post.

1 .I can't figure out [SDA2800CVBOX]. The 2 others are socket 754. BO is revision E3 and BX is revision E6. Those aren't complete OPN you posted, they look more like SDA2800AIO3BX and SDA2800AIO3BO

2. Palermo cores have are 90nm ones, paris is 130. There is only 1 Paris core I know about, it's a sempron 3100

3. CnQ stands for Cool and Quiet, I don't know how well it performs (never had the chance to try it) but I hear it's good

4. The only difference between the 2500+ and the 2800+ is those 200MHz, even L2 cache is the same. They will both perform better than barton 2600+. Forget about socket A anyway !

5. Venice Core is a socket 939, It's not an Athlon64 processor. If you're asking which of those will give better performance, this one will, but it's also more expensive. The price difference between the 2800 and the 2500 souldn't be very big (I don't know how much though). If it's not significant, I'd go for the 2800. You can get the 2500 and OC it to reach the 2800.

Be aware that with any of these 3 cpu you chose, you'll have to change your motherboard. You have a socket A and you're upgrading to a socket 754 or 939...
