I'd like to know whether there are data sheets for the 90nm s754 Sempron "Palermo" available anywhere.

The background: A german faq page states that the Palermo has no C'nQ. Is this correct?

The Semprons 2600+ and 2800+ for Socket 754 doesn't got Cool'n Quiet as far that I know, and they bring a Locked Multiplier. Maybe this Greyhound Thread can help you' ">

If you go here' "> you will see that almost everything is disabled on Sempron for socket 754 compared to Athlon64. Just the "older" 3100+ have other features then the rest.

The reason for not have CnQ enabled are that it is allready on the lower side of clock (1600 or 1800) and don't get that warm (69 watt) as Athlon can get under load. If Greyhounds information are right, then Sempron are built from mobile CPU and therefore also of a cooler design. See link above and to Greyhound for more information.

X-bit labs page are usefull if you want to know more about this group of Semprons.
