hi,

iam planning my 7th barebones. in the past i would only purchase AMD recommended MB. the kits iam looking at only have a single choice for the MB, neither are AMD recommended. is it a good idea to stick with only AMD recommended MB.
i will be buying a agp video card. anyone know any good online places for barbone kits?

I can understand getting a barebones for your first build or two. But at this stage, why limit yourself to barebones? Just curious.

actually three of those builds where form scratch. some people may find using kits repulsive, but i find it less expensive than buying all the individual components, afew where for friends, i try to keep the cost down.

Not repulsed at all. I've just never seen the right one and the right time.
