Hi

I have a Athlon 2800+ (2Ghz) XP running on a 333FSB motherboard and have 2 questions

1) Is it worthwhile upgrading to a Sempron 2800+ (2.0Ghz) ?
2) Can I use the same motherboard (which is 333FSB) ?

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Answers:

1) Althlon XP has a slight edge on equivalent Semprons - they're a bit quicker, so no - not really.

2) Not necessarily. The are some MSI socket A motherboards (for example) that support 333 FSB, but do not support Semprons.
