first i have to say that i have a integrated video card on my mb.
my mb has also an AGP 8x port.
my cpu temperature stays around 50-51C idle, and 55 on full load.
someone told me that if i put in a AGP card, and turn of the integrated one should lower the cpu temperature.
is that true??

No. Turning off integrated graphics will make no difference in temps.

The seperate video card will produce more heat, thus possibly causing temps to rise a little - depending on the card.
