i've got a sempron 64 with an A-Bit NF8 socket 754 board i hear that win 64 is hardly supported by anything! is this so, is there a list of supported applications for win 64??

It is up to you, myself I had an x64 license and I have installed XP x64 on a Sempron 3100. I must admit that I quite like it and find its performance to be fairly good. No complaints as of yet, some driver issues with scanners and printers, but not much more.
