Could someone tell me if a cooler (without heatsink) from Sempron 2600+ socket 754 could be replaced by a cooler of an Athlon64 3000+ socket 754 ?
I don't want to replace the Sempron's heatsink, but only the cooler (the original Sempron cooler's is broken, one palette is broken).
I don't want that you take a guess, i want an answer only from the people who experimented and saw these two coolers.
My heatsink+cooler is an AVC one, and i wonder: the heatsink+cooler from Athlon64 is an AVC or an DELTA ? Does anyone know ?

I take it that by cooler you mean the HeatSink+Fan that you install over the cpu, and by heatsink, you mean the Integrated HeatSink that is glued to the cpu ??

Anyway, I haven't seen any of these 2 coolers, but they are both socket 754, so it will work
