I have a bit of a weird problem with a 2800+, an n2pap ultra jetway m/board (latest bios), 512 mb pc2700 ddr ram.

This is my young lads PC and on post it shows correctly as a Sempron 2800+, but under windows, cpuz and amd CPUinfo it shows as a MP 2000Ghz, which is not too much of an issue, but it shows no support for SSE2. Does this processor support it, as it is stopping some software from being installed.

I wouldn't worry about the MP bit. It's running at the correct speed. But socket A semprons don't support SSE2; only SSE.
