G'day,

I was looking at the AMD Prices section for Sempron processors; I'm looking specifically at the

Sempron LE-1150 (65nm, 2.0GHz, 45W, 256KB L2 cache, 1600MHz HyperTransport bus, socket AM2) $37

I note that the "listing reflects pricing for direct AMD customers in 1000-unit tray quantities, except when designated as PIB quantities."

A few questions mostly directed to those who have bought or know about bulk-buying direct from AMD in general:
1) What do these bulk Semprons look like? Are they simply processors in a bulk tray or do they each come in an individual box complete with heatsink/fan/manual etc like the ones you buy from resellers?
2) Does this price include delivery to Australia? How is it delivered?
3) To get these prices/processors, do I contact AMD or one of their authorised resellers?
4) In http://wheretobuy.amd.com/pibs.html, are these prices for single units or 1000unit quantities?

Thank you for your help.

oh i see; thank you.

I do notice that some of the PIB prices are less than the quoted tray prices. eg. X2 4200+, tray price 68, PIB is 63. any ideas why this is so?
