Hi,

I have a problem with my CPU. I have a AMD Sempron 2200+ processor. But my computer show me that I have AMD Athlon, running at 1200 MHz. And this from 2-3 days. Installing Windows XP SP2 and all drivers can`t turn back my CPU.

What i can do ?

What is your motherboard? Set the CPU Clock/fsb to 166MHz and RAM to 333MHz DDR(166), in BIOS, save& exit. Changed CMOS battery if it has run empty and does not keep the settings in BIOS.

P.S.: sometimes I made some changes in BIOS, like boot priorities. I press SAVE, the computer restarts, but no changes. He don`t save nothing.
