how good is my AMD Sempron Processor SI-42 ti is in a hp 6735s and can i upgrade it to anything better

The SI-42 is by its spec. quite power efficient, but a single core processor, if you need more power you might consider upgrading to a dual core CPU, like QL, TK, RM line, but I am not aware of which will work in a hp6735s.

single core low power extreme budget end CPU.

Intended for business class PC,s that do nothing more then word processing and on line data entry.

Cheap of the cheap.

Would just rock for a netbook.
