recently purchased a 4g HP with an AMD athlon II dualcore M320 2.1ghz, with intention of using it partially for music. to my disgust before purchasing the intended vestaxvci300 with serato itch I found this......

can someone elaborate. is it the chip, or the computer. the web is covered in dudes complaining that their athlon chips dont work well with audio software. is it the chip, or cheapy computers. I need to know because obviously i dont want to waste more $. anyone know if traktor works? are there workarounds? confused and really disgruntled with the whole athlon thing!!
