Thanks for all the answers.
A second problem that this board have , is that it can't support 3 memory modules when using a CPU with a FSB333.
I am thinking to buy a Athlon
MP2800+ FSB266, how about it?

Athlon XP 1800+?uses 266MHz FSB, while Athlon XP 2800+ is 333MHz FSB.
Due to the chipset limitation, if you use 333MHz FSB CPU on A7V8X, the memory only runs on 333MHz or 400MHz which?may cause?PC2100 (DDR 266) memory not to work properly. Please replace the memory with PC2700 (DDR333) or PC3200 (DDR400) module to give?a try. You'd better use the memory that is shown on the QVL?of ourweb site or?listed in the manual.

Due to the KT400 chipset limitation, you can only use 2 DDR 333 memory modules at max. on A7V8X. Please use DDR 200/266 memory modules if you intend to install three pieces of RAM on it.

Since VIA chipset limitation, it can support PC3200 one DIMM or PC2700 two DIMMs as user's manual described. If you install two pcs PC3200, it will run as DDR333 automatically.

A7V8X PCB revirsion R1.04 or later with label stating "333MHz FSB support" on South Bridge will support 333MHz FSB Athlon XP. In addition, there will also be "333MHz FSB support" label on the gift box if the motherboard really supports 333MHz FSB Athlon XP.
