I turned up teh side bus speed too much, now winxp locks once Vcore loads. I turned the clock speed in teh BIOS, but CoreCenter must take over on a windows boot. Does anyone know how I get out of this? I tried a goback, but my history mysteriously was wiped out too.
Try booting into safe-mode and then uninstall Core-center (you may reinstall it once you're able to boot into windows normally).
To enter 'safe-mode', press 'F8' after your machine POSTs, just before it starts loading windows.

Thanks. That got me out of the loop. I was able to boot with the safe defaults after disabling the core program. Then I tried putting the speed back at 1330, like it was before, and the system locked. Now it even locks in the BIOS. I think the processor is toast, does anyone agree?
